Centre for Mental Health has announced a new partnership with Chasing the Stigma, which will see the ground-breaking mental health platform, the Hub of Hope, used as the Centre’s official signposting resource.
Visitors to Centre for Mental Health’s website will have access to more than 3,500 services through the Hub of Hope, with Centre for Mental Health promoting the partnership to help the database to continue to grow, meaning that even more people needing support can access a service near them, wherever they are.
Sarah Hughes, Chief Executive at Centre for Mental Health, said: “We know that getting swift advice and effective support when someone is struggling with their mental health can make a huge difference. So we’re excited to be partnering with Hub of Hope to ensure that more people can find out where they can get help locally when and where it’s needed.”
Jake Mills, Founder and CEO of Chasing the Stigma and Hub of Hope, said: “I am delighted to be partnering with Centre for Mental Health, who are true champions of changing society for the better. Like Chasing the Stigma, Centre for Mental Health believes in finding better ways of working for the benefit of all and I believe this partnership can will be important in helping us create a consistent message around how to find and access mental health support.”
The Hub of Hope can now be accessed via our helplines page and through the app, which can be downloaded from the App Store or Play Store. The Hub of Hope also has a ‘Need Help Now?’ button that connects users directly to Samaritans or Crisis Text Line’s messaging service.
