Jan Hutchinson joined Centre for Mental Health in 2011 and is our Director of Operations. Jan qualified as a social worker in 1994 and has managed mental health services in both the statutory and voluntary sector. She brings experience of running Individual Placement and Support employment services and has a Master’s Degree in Management and Diversity.
Jan leads on staff recruitment, contract management, internal policies, anti-racism, special projects and is our Problem-Solver-in-Chief. She has run seminars, webinars and given presentations on the Centre’s behalf across all countries of the United Kingdom, Belgium, Spain, the Czech Republic and USA.
In 2017 Jan was awarded a Leadership Fellowship by ACEVO – the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations.
