How do I know which job/career is right for me?

There are a number of online careers interest guides to help you decide what you might want to do. 

National Careers Service: You can also look at different types of jobs descriptions, typical pays and entry requirements by visiting the National Careers Service website. 

Start: a free, online careers platform, designed to connect 11-18 year olds with their future career potential.

Job search resources

Once you have decided on the type of job you want to apply for, you can look for current vacancies using one of the many job search websites that available (e.g. Indeed, Totaljobs.com, CV Library, Adzuna). The vacancies available through the Jobcentre plus network can be accessed on the Universal Jobmatch website.
