Equally Well UK would like to invite you to an online event on Friday 21st June 2024 on physical activity and exercise for improving metabolic health and recovery in people with mental illnesses.

In this webinar we will hear from Joe Firth (University of Manchester), Justin Chapman (Griffith University, Australia) and Matt Waugh (CNWL NHS Trust) who will:

  • outline what services and clinicians can do to improve health outcomes in youth healthcare
  • present research on the benefits of implementing exercise programmes, evidencing improved quality of life, and collaborative approaches with community organisations and hospital services
  • explore opportunities for partnering with community organisations in an ongoing project establishing a community gym with nutrition support in London.
