Date: Tuesday 23rd July 2024
Time: 18:00-20:00
Venue: Southwark Town Hall or virtually via Zoom
The national event of the Mentally Healthier Councils Network will see Ed Davie, the Centre’s Policy and Public Affairs Lead, joined by a fantastic group of speakers working on public and mental health. We will also be taking time to reflect on the successes of the last twelve months and making room to discuss the next steps for the Network.
Alongside presentations on our upcoming Joint Strategic Needs Assessment Guidance and plans for the next twelve months, we are thrilled to confirm the following speakers:
- Jude Stansfield, Principal Research Fellow at Leeds Beckett University
- Dr. Ron Dodzro, Clinical & Community Psychologist specialising in trauma and PTSD amongst Black men
- Cllr. Jacqui Dyer, Mental Health Equalities Advisor for NHS England and Co-Chair of the Mayoral ‘ThriveLDN’
- Louise Marshall, Senior Public Health Fellow, The Health Foundation
- Jilla Burgess-Allen, Director of Public Health, Stockport Council
The event will be split into two sessions and it will be possible to attend either in person or online. This is an opportunity to come together, share ideas and shape the future of the Mentally Healthier Councils Network.
Registration for this event is now closed. If you would still like to attend please email – contact@centreformentalhealth.org.uk.
